The End of May
Since its the end of May, I guess that means Summer as we know it is fast approaching now that we're almost in June...Savannah's smiling a ton now and I love trying to get her to laugh. Despite my best attempts of getting her hair under control, it no use...it just likes to stand up on end...Elijah loves his friend Noah (who is in the swings picture)...they love to wrestle and laugh together...too much fun.

More graduation...
Phil Finished!!!
After two and a half years of hard work, Phil graduated with his Masters of Arts in Christian Apologetics. We went down to LA this weekend for his graduation. It was a quick trip (we left Thursday and came back Saturday) but it was filled with so many great times.
I have to say, I've never been more proud of my husband (well maybe except for how great of a daddy he is to our kids) for the hard work and perseverance over the past two years. When I think back on the past two and a half years, I think about how much has happened...we've had two kids, he's worked full time in ministry (which is often more than the standard 40 hours) and spent endless nights staying up late working hard on his school work. Without much complaining, he's managed to succeed with school, always making family his first priority, and making sure that our well-being is always being met. For all that, I'm so proud of him and the hard work he's accomplished...congrats babe...you did a fantastic job!
Going to LA was a little nerve wracking for me because we hadn't driven that far with Elijah since he was a baby, and many of you know how full of energy he is...so I wasn't sure how he'd do in the car for that long, but much to my surprise, both of the kids did fantastic and slept like champs the whole weekend...they didn't skip a beat and despite the stress of the weekend, they handled it super well. The weather in LA was FREEZING and it rained most of the time we were there...unfortunately, I didn't pack a single warm piece of clothing for anyone except for a sweatshirt, because who would of thought the weather would have been that way while we were there...especially after the week of 100 degrees here in N. Cal.

Swim lessons
We started Elijah in swim lessons this week through our city rec department...its a class full of 2 year olds, half of them hate the water and cry the whole time and the other half of the kids love it and are fearless...Elijah's one of the fearless ones, constantly asking Phil or I to "let go" because he wants to swim on his own.
Savannah's 2 months old!
Can you believe it??? She's two months old already. We had her two-month appointment yesterday and she weighs in now at 12 lbs 10.5 oz! What a chunk... :) She's full of smiles and coos and is getting really interactive... She sleeps like a champ, in fact, last night she slept from 8 pm until 7 am this morning without waking up once!
